We Want To Help…

Stand Up For Downs was created to offer funding assistance to organizations, individuals and events that need it most and to those causes that align with our mission of enhancing the lives of those with developmental disabilities.

Currently, we are reserving around 50% of our available funds to help organizations and individuals pay for Improvaneer Method programs. We believe this sister program of ours is incredibly important to greatly increasing social, workplace and lifetime opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. We also do not want the lack of funds to stop an individual or organization from participating in this program.

The remaining 50% of available funds will be provided through grants, donations, and sponsorships to individuals and organizations that send us requests and have needs that align with our mission. There is currently no formal application process to receive funding. Our board will review all requests and make decisions on accepting the request, the amount available to fund, and the timing of delivering the funds as quickly as possible.

Improvaneer Method Grants

Stand Up For Downs considers The Improvaneer Method to be an extremely important program benefitting and increasing the opportunities of those with developmental disabilities and is reserving 50% of our funds to help individuals and organizations afford this program.

If you or your organization need assistance to pay for one of The Improvaneer Method programs, please click the link and let us know the details of your request. We will make all efforts to assist with payments for this program. We do not want financial issues to impede any organization’s or individual’s ability to participate in this program.

Organization Grants

Stand Up For Downs has granted over 50 different organizations funds totaling over $200,000 in the last 8 years. We are happy to offer grants to organizations that are impacting the Down syndrome and Disability community in the most positive and meaningful ways.

Individual Grants

Beyond offering grants to organizations, Stand Up For Downs recognizes the need for individual grants, and has happily provided over $50,000 in grants to individuals in need of funds for various purposes in relation to a loved one with a developmental disability.

Donations and Sponsorships

Stand Up For Downs has donated to or sponsored organizations, events and individuals in excess of $50,000 over the past 8 years. . We are happy to consider all donation and sponsorship requests provided they match the mission of our organization in a meaningful way.
